台積電28HPC製程量產

晶圓代工龍頭台積電（2330）今日宣布，推出業界最低功耗及最佳成本效益的28奈米技術解決方案—28奈米高效能精簡型製程（28HPC），並已正式進入量產。

台積電目前已擁有28奈米低耗電製程(28LP)、28奈米高效能製程(28HP)、28奈米高效能低耗電製程(28HPL)及28奈米高效能行動運算製程(28HPM)，而28HPC製程則是28奈米製程組合中的新力軍。

在固定總功率消耗的設計條件下，28HPC製程能針對應用於智慧型手機、平板電腦、及其他消費性產品的64位元中央處理器及LTE數據機提供最佳效能。相較於台積電的28LP製程，28HPC製程具備更緊密的製程控制、更有效率的設計解決方案及新的製程條件，能有效縮小10%晶片尺寸，在所有速度使用情況下功耗減低30%，並在相同功耗下速度增快20%。

台積電目前已與10家客戶完成多項28HPC製程產品設計定案，其中並有數家客戶已順利進入量產；另外，預計今年底前將陸續完成70件新產品設計定案。
