美國海軍證實，兩架F/A-18大黃蜂戰鬥機在西太平洋海域墜毀，其中一名駕駛已經獲救，另一名駕駛還在搜救。

福斯新聞網報導，兩架戰機都是從航空母艦卡爾文森號（USS Carl Vinson）起飛，意外原因尚待調查。F/A-18大黃蜂戰機每架造價約美金5700萬元（約台幣17.1億元）。
