WHO：塞內加爾脫離伊波拉疫區名單

法新社快訊報導，世界衛生組織（WHO）剛剛宣布，西非國家塞內加爾已脫離伊波拉疫區名單。

世界衛生組織17日宣布，塞內加爾已有42天沒檢出新感染個案，正式脫離疫區名單，並讚揚該國在控制疫情上所做的努力。

由於伊波拉病毒潛伏期為21日，因此只要待42日的第2次潛伏期結束仍沒有發現新感染個案，即可宣布疫情結束。

此前世衛組織就曾表示，塞內加爾與奈及利亞都已長期未發現新感染病例，有望脫離疫區名單。而現在塞內加爾已成功過關，奈及利亞也可望在20日宣布脫離伊波拉侵擾。
