暴風雪再襲波士頓近2千航班取消

美國東北部地區今天因逢兩週來的第三次暴風雪而陷入癱瘓，波士頓機場的近2000個航班取消，各學校停課，公共建築關閉。

這個暴風雪預期將使波士頓降下60公分的大雪，「波士頓環球報」（The Boston Globe）報導，當地已降下有紀錄以來的30天最大總降雪量。

環球報說，在今天之前，波士頓的降雪量已達61公分以上，超過了1978年的30天總量58.8公分。

FlightAward網站說，今天共有1840個以上航班取消，包括波士頓洛根機場（Logan）的70%以及紐約拉瓜迪亞機場（LaGuadia）的55%航班。

波士頓各學校已停課，非必要人員奉命無須到校。至於2013年波士頓馬拉松爆炸案審判的陪審團甄選，再度停擺。

國家氣象局表示，由德拉瓦州到緬因州南部，美國東北部許多地區的冬季暴風雪警報現仍有效。
